Because when you don’t you are lying to yourself, and you will rebel in one way or another. Same goes with fitness and health. Same goes with what you eat, and how you live your life. Let’s delve deeper though into the food, fitness and health aspect, as this is a fitness blog.
Tuning In To Your True Desires Will Only ENHANCE Your Life
Know yourself, your body and what makes your heart beat fast. Feed that appetite, it’s important. To deny it will only lead to trouble. In fitness and health that means eat what you want. Eat GOOD food, no eat GREAT food. Just do it the right way. Eat well for the most part, but every now and then indulge in the things your body is craving for. If you don’t, you will end up aggravated, feeling unfulfilled, or even dive into spontaneous binges that will only drive you farther behind your goals.
In the end, when looking at your fitness and your health I am a firm believer in treating it like a marathon. No, an ultra-marathon. Think long term. By doing so, it allows you to tune in to your true desires and adjust slowly, and in small measurements over time.
